Frequently Asked Questions
HOW DIFFICULT IS THE RIDE?
This ride is fun for beginners to advanced. We have had bikers as young as 5 and as old as 88, and they say it was the best thing they had done in San Francisco.
IS IT FLAT?
Yes, this trip is mostly flat except for two small hills that are easy to ride. The middle of the bridge is 220ft above sea level, then you coast downhill into Sausalito.
IS THE BIKE PATH HARD TO FOLLOW?
Not at all. The new bike path is easy to follow using our custom bike map which includes several points of interest and exciting side trips.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR/BRING FOR MY BIKE RIDE?
Weather can vary from San Francisco to Marin County. To be comfortable throughout your ride, we recommend you dress layered. Windbreakers are great! Small personal items such as camera, wallet and water can be stored easily in the handlebar bag provided. Backpacks are ideal and these are easily secured to the rear of the bike by one of our staff.
IS THE RETURN FERRY TICKET FROM SAUSALITO/TIBURON INCLUDED?
NO.
DO I NEED INSURANCE?
Optional Accidental Damage Insurance is available for $3 per day at the time of check-in for your tour.
A minimum of 4 total riders is required in order for us to conduct our daily guided tour. We reserve the right to cancel the tour if we do not reach that minimum total. If we cancel, you will be offered the choice of rescheduling for another day or receiving a full refund.
